Lakes study launched
A major study aimed aiming to identify future employment sites and development opportunities within the Lake District is taking place during the summer.
The survey – which is being carried out by Atkins, the global environmental consultancy – will produce detailed results and will become part of the park authority’s emerging Local Development Framework.
Organisations that are being asked to take part in the survey include Friends of the Lake District, Cumbria County Council and the region’s district councils as well as leading property agencies.
