Landau to open at Langham
A new restaurant called The Landau will open at The Langham hotel, London, on 27 November under the direction of head chef Andrew Turner.
A vaulted wine corridor will connect the entrance lobby to the 100-seat restaurant, so that diners can browse a display of up to 280 bins before reaching their table.
The Landau is named after the carriage that HRH The Prince of Wales rode in to open The Langham, London in 1865.
The initial stage of the hotel’s refurbishment completed earlier this year added a private 14-seat dining and cocktail room called The Postilion and The Artesian Bar, designed by David Collins Studio.
