Langham signs management deal for Zhejiang hotel
Langham Hotels International has signed a management agreement for a hotel in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China.
The 140-bedroom Langham Place, Ningbo Culture Plaza is owned by the Ningbo Culture Plaze Investment & Development Company.
The plaza is one of the city's key developments for the arts, fashion and retail industries and includes commercial, educational, recreational, gallery, exhibition and theatre space.
Brett Butcher, chief executive of Langham Hotels International said: "The partnership with Ningbo Culture Plaza Investment & Development Company Limited is a strategic milestone for Langham Hotels International as we expand into more key cities in China."
The hotel itself includes its own art gallery, as well as an 8,935sq ft ballroom, five meeting rooms and three dining concepts.
It also boasts a health club and swimming pool and the group's signature Chuan Spa, offering treatments based on traditional Chinese medicine.
