Lappset has designed and manufactured the first Angry Birds Activity Park, which has opened at Sundown Adventureland in Nottinghamshire.

The park has characters from the popular digital game bursting into life in an interactive setting and features activities for children.

Angry Birds Activity Parks are designed to encourage people to surrender their video game controllers in favour of outdoor play.

Sundown Adventureland has also included Lappset’s Sona unit in its new themed area, an interactive playground that uses movement and sound.

The completion of the Activity Park marks the end of phase one of the Angry Birds development at Sundown Adventureland.

Although the first Angry Birds Activity Park is primarily aimed at under 10s in order to fit Sundown’s target market, other parks will aim to create active meeting places for the whole family, from young children to teens and adults.

Lappset also produces other themed products, including an arcade game which can be played outdoors.
