Le Frog Bistro goes into administration
Le Frog Bistro, the operator of a chain of five French restaurants in the north west of England, has gone into administration.
The company is the latest to fall victim of the economic slowdown, after the Food and Drink Group, owner of Jamies Bars and Henry J Bean's, ran into financial difficulties in August. Begbies Traynor has been appointed to handle the administration of the restaurant operator, which is owned by Wolfteam, and it is understood that agent Christie and Co has been brought into sell the company's five sites.
The five Le Frog Bistro outlets are located in Ormskirk, Fulwood, Wigan and Warrington in Lancashire, as well as St. Helens, Merseyside. The Warrington site has already closed.
