Leading coaching company Sport Plus partners with SHOKK Ltd

SHOKK, the youth activity people, have partnered with the Sports Plus Scheme Ltd (SPSL) to ensure the most innovative and exciting forms of physical activity are being experienced in schools across the West Midlands and beyond.

SPSL has been working in education since 2000 and has very much set the standard for high quality Sports Coaching and PE Provision. With skilled mapping to the National Curriculum Key Stage 1-4 central to their philosophy, SPSL offers a wide range of services from extended school activities, PPA cover, fun days, gifted and talented courses and even healthy eating workshops.

SHOKK is now the preferred training supplier for SPSL and will continue to provide high quality instruction, enabling the delivery of physical activity outside mainstream sport.

Already SPSL has been integrating SHOKK Breaker, Kombat, Jump and Box sessions, which have all been fantastically received by coaches and pupils alike. Over the next year, more core activities including SHOKK Cheerleading, Urban (street-dance) and Indoors Out will be rolled out.

SHOKK offers the widest range of youth-specific qualifications, CPD training courses and workshops available across the globe. All of the SHOKK programmes currently being adopted by SPSL are part of the 'Earn your stripes' educational pathway. This is an easy-to-use platform to up-skill knowledge for learners either entering or progressing a career working with young people.

Andy Mulligan, SPSL Managing Director commented: "We have built a strong brand within the education sector and high quality delivery with well-trained coaches is central to this. I see SHOKK as an ideal partner as we extend our successful business on a national level. SHOKK understands what young people are looking for and always keep things fresh and exciting, which is very important when delivering to this demographic."
