Leeds Met revamps gyms
New fitness suites have opened at two Leeds Metropolitan University campuses as part of a £400,000 refurbishment programme.
Both the university's Headingley site and City Campus have seen their gyms re-modelled and re-equipped by Precor.
The Headingly Campus has been installed with a 52-station gym and the City Campus facility in Leeds city centre has a 60-station gym.
All CV stations, including seven Adaptive Motion Trainers, have personal viewing screens.
The overhaul of the gyms is just one aspect of a new partnership between Precor and Leeds Metropolitan. Precor will also be supporting the work the University does within its sports department as well as sharing its marketing expertise.
Between them the fitness facilities boast 6,000 members made up from students, staff, public and visiting athletes.
