Left in the dark
British band Friendly Fires are to team up with Sony Ericsson for a unique gig designed to stimulate the senses.
Titled ‘Pitch Black’, the gig is to take place without any lighting, effectively rendering the audience ‘blind’ to the band (pictured) as they play.
200 fans will then have the opportunity to ‘feel’ the music, with the band able to see the crowd through night-vision goggles.
Dave Hilton, Head of Marketing at Sony Ericsson UK and Ireland said: “This ground-breaking gig is a fresh example of our commitment to always deliver unique experiences and our innovative approach to entertainment.”
The gig is to take place at a secret London venue on June 15th.
