A new networking group, The Leisure Suppliers Forum (LSF), will be launched at next week's LIW show with the objective of bringing suppliers together to mutual benefit and to recognise excellence and innovation across the industry.

Conceived by Darrell Boxall of Xn and Jon Johnston from Matrix, the LSF will target specific objectives.

These include giving suppliers within the commercial UK leisure industry an "Industry" voice; to establish a peer group of suppliers working together; to create a board and steering group to drive and champion the LSF and its Members; and encourage regular meetings to discuss industry challenges.

Representatives of the LSF will also be present at association gatherings involving players such as CLOA and FIA, while a Supplier Awards Dinner is also being planned.

The first meetings will be held at hospitality suite 31 during LIW next week.
