Leisure businesses honoured in this year's Queen’s Awards
A design consultant, a countryside centre and a visitor attraction were among 112 businesses that have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise this year.
MET Studio Design, which specialises in design and consultancy work for museums, science centres, visitor centres, zoos and ecoparks; Clynfyn Countryside Centre, which specialises in farm-based respite care and rural arts holidays and the Scottish Seabird Centre, which lets visitors view remote wildlife, were all recognised.
Winners of the award, an endorsement of business success and practice, are invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace and can use the Queen’s Award Emblem on all their publicity for five years. Details: www.queensawards.org.uk
