Leisure operator WLCT looks to boost activity with rebrand
Leisure and culture provider WLCT has rebranded as 'Inspiring healthy lifestyles' in a bid to better represent its mission of getting people in the north west of England more active.
The organisation, which carries out services on behalf of Wigan Council, Cannock Chase Council and Selby Council, has introduced the new brand to better represent its purpose as a business. the operator says it also plans to deliver new products and improved facilities suitable for people of all abilities.
“We believe this new brand better reflects what we’re all about – inspiring people to be active, creative and healthy,” said Inspiring healthy lifestyles managing director Pete Burt.
“This new brand reflects our new business strategy which is focused on improving people’s lives by inspiring them to be active, creative and healthy.”
WLCT was established in 2003. Over the past 12 years, it has partnered local authorities on the opening of multi-million pound leisure centres including Howe Bridge Leisure Centre in Wigan, Selby Leisure Centre and Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock Chase.
