Lighting up the South Bank
Royal Philips Electronics has teamed up with Architainment Lighting Ltd to install a LED lighting solution at London's County Hall, situated on the South Bank.
With a lighting projection of up to 500ft, Philips' ColorReach™ Powercore technology is able to provide in excess of 5,000 lumens of light.
A total of 20 fixtures and modules have been put in place at the site, with each 290W fitting replacing conventional 600W modules, giving the Hall energy savings of approximately 50 per cent.
Flexibility is a main aspect of the lighting system, with the ability to change the lighting on offer to reflect the brand colours of any company that uses the building for corporate purposes.
