Link4Life names award winners
Link4Life has announced the winners of its annual Rochdale Borough Community Sports Awards.
Held at the new Middleton Arena and sponsored by Greater Manchester Weekly Newspapers, the awards included Sports Achiever of the Year, Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Coach of the Year, Unsung Hero and Club of the Year. Two new awards for this year were the Innovation in Community Sports Award and the Sports Leader Award.
Three times Gold Paralympic champion, Simon Jackson presented the Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year award.
