Living Ventures launches new bar in Edinburgh
The Living Room bar-restaurant chain, operated by Living Ventures, has expanded to Edinburgh with a new £900,000 site on George Street, which will be open to the public from 21 July.
The 3,000sq ft site will incorporate a 140-seat restaurant area and a 250-capacity bar and is described as “Manhattan loft with a colonial twist” in design.
The Edinburgh Living Room has been designed by an in-house team. The main feature of each Living Room venue is a white baby grand piano, situated in the centre of the main space while the Edinburgh site boasts a 150-strong cocktail list.
This latest site will join other Living Rooms in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, London and Nottingham.
Future plans include opening further sites in Leeds (August 2003) and Chester (October 2003) with 2004 projected sites including Newcastle, York, Oxford, Brighton and a central London location. Details:www.thelivingroom.co.uk
