LivingWell has been awarded a five-year contract to manage the new Health and Wellbeing Centre at the Sage Group headquarters.

Due to open in November, the centre is located at the business management software specialists’ new office in Newcastle; the offices can accommodate up to 1,300 employees and LivingWell expects to attract 500 members within its first year of operation.

Facilities at the centre will include a comprehensive gym and extensive group exercise programme.

The corporate contract is the third this year for LivingWell, which launched its Wellbeing Partnership Team to support businesses seeking to improve their employee wellbeing.

LivingWell's commercial director, Rick Haslam, said: “We have had an exciting year in the Wellbeing Partnership Team, with our Credit Suisse First Boston contract winning Best Management Contract Club in the 2003 FIA Flame awards.

“Our success has been based on our unique service offering, our professional experience in both commercial and corporate health club management and our passion to help all our members enjoy a healthier lifestyle.”

The other two contracts won this year are with Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland, both in Canary Wharf.
