Local authority adopts KALC planning brief
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) has unveiled a new planning brief to shape the development of Kensington Academy and Leisure Centre (KALC), London.
Councillors adopted the new document on 16 May, which is the latest milestone in efforts to develop the new school and leisure facility on the Notting Barns Ward site. RBKC cabinet member for planning policy Tim Ahern said: "Of course, before the plan can become a reality planning permission will have to be sought.
"The supplementary planning document has been published to ensure that the proposals for the Kensington Academy and Leisure Centre are coherent, well-considered and that the final development is something residents, pupils and leisure centre users will be truly proud of."
