Lock 17 opens on Dingwalls London site
A new café bar, Lock 17, has opened on the site of the music venue Dingwalls and Jongleurs Comedy Club in Camden, north London.
The building, which has been completely refurbished, will still offer life music and comedy but now also presents the Canalside Bar, The Market Bar and the roof terrace.
"It’s a wonderful light, bright, airy site right on the canal-side," said operations manager Peter Grazier. "It’s natural, stylish and relaxed and really in keeping with the whole feel of the area."
Shooters and cocktails will be a speciality, along with a range of alcoholic milkshakes. The menu has been designed to cater for all tastes from super-hungry to health conscious, ranging from all-day breakfasts, to Maryland crab cakes, salmon or halloumi cheese and mushrooms on toast.
"The aim at Lock 17 is to offer a warm welcome throughout the day and evening. People can relax and chat to friends with a cappuccino or latte, meet for lunch, unwind with a drink after work, or eat, drink and party the night away," said Grazier.
