Locum Destination Consulting sets sights on America
Three years after it launched its company in the UK, Locum Destination Consulting has opened a San Francisco office to offer its expertise to the North American market.
Locum delivers specialist strategic, financial and operational advice for visitor destinations including museums, shopping malls and mixed-use property developments. In Europe, Locum's clients include Glasgow Science Centre, The British Museum and English Heritage.
Anna Brown, a senior member of the Locum team will head up the San Francisco office which opened on 2 September.
James Alexander, Managing Director of Locum says:
'We are delighted to establish a foothold in North America, a market with huge potential for Locum. Recent projects such as the Sony Metreon in San Francisco, the Experience Music Project in Seattle and The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in Napa demonstrate the breadth of activity in the destination market place.'
