London Motor Museum offers one-off circuit ride in the Batmobile
The London Motor Museum is offering a unique visitor experience in an attempt to drum up business – a ride around a Surrey speed circuit in the Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film by Tim Burton.
The museum owns one of only four original Batmobiles built for the film, in addition to the original model from the 1966 TV series.
Offered in the form of a Groupon competition, entrants will be able to “purchase” a free voucher from the special offer website, which will put them in a limited availability draw for the unique track day, in addition to a meal for four at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
The museum, located in the Hayes area of London, is home to one of the largest collections of both classic and custom automobiles in Europe, with more than 200 special vehicles on display, including a 1937 Auburn Speedster, a 1967 ‘Eleanor’ GT500, a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr.
