London Pleasure Gardens - a major new entertainment quarter which is transforming a 15-acre (6.1-hectare) site at the Royal Docks in Newham - is to officially open on 30 June.
The 60,000sq m (645,835sq ft) arts and entertainment destination is set to incorporate a 1,000-capacity dome with a late licence; a sculpture garden; and a floating cocktail bar.
Dance and theatre arenas will also form part of the £5m development, which will be able to accommodate 35,000 people in total and has received a £3m loan from Newham Council.
The project is designed to recreate the pleasure gardens that were a focal point of London's social life for more than 200 years between the 17th and 19th centuries.
London Pleasure Gardens will be responsible for redeveloping and operating the site over a three-year period as a "prelude to the long-term regeneration of the area".
Newham mayor Sir Robin Wales said: "Not only will it provide a spectacular venue, it will give jobs to Newham residents and generate revenue which will be invested back into the community.
"London is moving east and the Gardens will highlight the incredible opportunities available to investors."
