London Zoo opens Amphibians exhibit
Zoological Society of London (ZSL) has opened a new permanent exhibition, Amphibians, at London Zoo.
The new attraction charts the story of frogs, toads, salamanders, newts and caecilians, starting with their evolution from 'walking' and air-breathing lungfish to the diversity and survival skills they use today.
Providing a centre for ZSL's EDGE Amphibians programme, the new exhibit will also give visitors an insight into ZSL's conservation work around the world to protect and save amphibians – the most endangered group of animals on Earth.
