London and Regional acquires Monaco hotel
Private property company London & Regional has acquired the 181-bedroom Columbus Hotel in Monaco.
Designed by Amanda Rosa, the hotel first opened in 2001 and London & Regional is looking to continue to run the property as a luxury hotel.
Ian Livingstone, chair of London & Regional Group, said: "We are pleased to add The Columbus in Monaco to our worldwide portfolio of hotels which already includes The Fairmont Monte Carlo.
"This latest investment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the Principality and we plan to further enhance the fine reputation and profile of The Columbus."
Property agents Christie + Co secured the deal.
