London secures 2011 badminton event
Badminton England has revealed that London will stage the sport's 2011 World Championships, following a decision by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).
Wembley Arena will play host to the tournament between 8-14 August 2011, which is held annually except in Olympic years and will take place in Paris this year. Badminton England chief executive Adrian Christy said: "Plans are already in development to ensure that we stage one of the best, if not the best, World Championships to date in the summer of 2011."
