London's Somerset House ice rink re-launches for fourth year
One of the capital's most popular Christmas attractions, the ice rink at Somerset House, will be launched for the fourth year at a special gala evening on November 26.
The gala evening proceeds will go to the Help a London Child charity while the event will feature a specially choreographed performance of Nutcracker! followed by the 40ft Christmas tree lights being switched on.
“London's loveliest ice rink” will be open to the public from the following day – 27 November – from 10am to 10pm until 25 January 2004.
Pre-booking of tickets for the rink is recommended, as approximately 40,000 have already been sold for this season. Details: www.somerset-house.org.uk/icerink
