Longleat unveils Super Beasts
Longleat safari park in Wiltshire is preparing to launch its newest attraction, Super Beasts – an interactive show celebrating the superheroes of the animal world.
The show invites visitors to see if they’ve got what it takes to be a superhero and features a mixture of live theatre, real animals and light and sound effects.
Florence Wallace, coordinator of the new attraction, said: “The original idea for the show came when we realised how many comic book superheroes have animal-related super powers – such as Batman, Spider-Man and Catwoman.
“The actors, designers and the animals of the show have excelled themselves and we’re all really excited to see how our first live audiences will react.”
The Super Beasts show will have six daily repeats and opens to public on 17 July, running until 5 September.
Longleat is set in more than 3,500 hectares and was one of the first safari parks to open outside Africa.
