Lord's named players' favourite venue
A new Drivers Jonas survey has revealed that nearly 90 per cent of top-flight cricketers in England have selected Lord's in London as their favourite venue scheduled to host a 2009 Ashes Test match.
According to the property consultancy's poll of 45 professional cricketers - around 10 per cent of all County Championship players - Cardiff's SWALEC Stadium was voted the least favourite with a mere 3.3 per cent. Edgbaston in Birmingham, Headingley in Leeds and the Brit Oval in London came second, third and fourth respectively.
