Louise Herron appointed chief executive of Sydney Opera House
Sydney Opera House Trust, the organisation responsible for the operation of the landmark arts venue in Sydney, Australia, has announced the appointment of Louise Herron as CEO.
Herron is due to take up the position on 6 August and will lead the Sydney Opera House's executive team, which works in partnership with the trust in operating the facility.
Trust chair Kim Williams said: "Louise brings significant and diverse business experience and a demonstrated passion for, and leadership in, the arts."
The appointment will Herron see take over as CEO from Jonathan Bielski, who held the post in an interim capacity following the resignation of Richard Evans in January.
