Leisure management contractor 3d Leisure has taken over the management of its thirteenth Quality Living Health Club for Choice Hotels Europe.
The club, in Stafford, was previously an unmanned squash club, but has recently been refurbished to incorporate a gym, swimming pool, aerobic studio, solarium, sauna, steamroom and café area, as well as retaining the squash courts.
'We took on the club with zero members and it is exciting to start with a clean sheet and build up this brand new facility from scratch,' said Paul Ramsay, group operations director.
The club, taking the number operated by 3d Leisure to 39, opened with 78 members after a one week pre-sale and has a capacity of 700. Details: +44 (0)1252 849707
