Lush megastore with spa opens in Liverpool
Lush Cosmetics, a beauty brand specialising in handmade cosmetics and sustainable skincare, has opened its biggest ever branch in Liverpool, UK.
Located on Church Street in central Liverpool, the Lush megastore is spread over three floors and boasts a number of in-store experiences including a spa.
Consisting of six treatment rooms, the spa boasts an extensive treatment menu offering full body treatments, massages, facials and body scrubs.
The in-house facilities also include a hair salon, florist, perfume library, a coffee and tea kiosk and a party area.
The brainchild of Lush cosmetic scientist Dan Campbell, the hair salon, called the HairLab, offers a range of services and treatments, such as cutting and styling consultations, hair treatments and more than 50 haircare products.
Campbell said: "When you have your hair done you're having to open up to stranger and the can be quite scary. But it can be a beautiful and validating experience - it's about making people feel good about themselves."
Described as 'a library for the senses', the perfume library is a cultural hub that delivers a moment of calm away from the shop floor. It offers an extensive collection of perfumery books, as well as all 29 Lush perfumes for guests to sample and Lush's own music collection.
"At a time when revitalisation is needed more than ever, the new destination shop on Church Street aims to bring more innovation and creative personal experiences than ever before to the high street and will host an array of exciting new projects that have been ideas within the company for years," commented a Lush spokesperson in a release.
