Luxury hotel planned for Delhi
Mumbai-based hotel group Hotel LeelaVenture has acquired three acres of land in Delhi for US$152m (£74m), with the intention of building a 211-room hotel.
The group is planning to have the luxury hotel completed and operational by 2010, in time for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, which are being held in the city.
The company currently has six new hotels under construction in Gurgaon Delhi, Udaipur, Chennai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune.
