Madame Tussauds Shanghai launches
The Tussauds Group has opened a Madame Tussauds wax museum in Shanghai, China, on the tenth floor of New World Department Store.
Madame Tussauds Shanghai, the sixth Tussauds wax museum branch in the world and the first in mainland China, has reportedly received around 3,500 visitors a day since opening on 1 May.
In fact, Shanghai Daily reported that several of the wax figures – which include celebrities such as Tom Cruise, David Beckham and Princess Diana – were “scratched or had clothing stained” due to excitable visitors.
The newspaper stated that the model of Andy Lau, the singer and actor from Hong Kong was one of the most popular attractions. Details: www.tussauds.com
