Manchester speedway plans move forward
Plans for the development of a new speedway stadium in Manchester have moved forward after the project formed part of the Eastlands Community Sports Plan (ECSP).
The ESCP is incorporated into the Eastlands Regeneration Framework, which was backed by Manchester City Council's executive last week. Belle Vue Sports Village is among proposals included in the ECSP, which includes a new speedway stadium to provide a home for Belle Vue Aces.
Chris Morton, operations director at Belle Vue Aces, said: "We still have a lot of work to do but this marks the start of the next phase."
