Mandaric to acquire Sheffield Wednesday FC
Sheffield Wednesday Football Club (SWFC) has informed the London Stock Exchange that its board has agreed to sell the club to Milan Mandaric.
UK Football Investments (UKFI) - fully owned by trustees of the Milan Mandaric 2008 Revocable Club - will acquire 100 per cent of the npower League One club for £1. UKFI has also reached agreement with the Co-operative Bank to clear SWFC's residual debt, with Mandaric set to serve as chair of the club.
