Mandarin Oriental Manila spa launches
The Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Manila, the Philippines, has opened a new spa.
Occupying an area formerly used by The Oriental Spa, which was operated by Fitness First, the new spa has been designed by Abacus with a Thai theme. It covers two floors of the hotel and has four treatment rooms, two of which are couples’ rooms, each with its own shower and hydraulic massage bed.
Mandarin has chosen Ytsara as its product supplier, while an in-house brand has also been created by Spa Essentials. Signature therapies will focus on Asian practices and include the Time Ritual, a signature service of Mandarin Oriental spas where treatments are booked in blocks of time.
Other spa facilities include a relaxation lounge overlooking a garden. There are plans to add more facilities before the end of this year, including two treatment rooms and Vichy water and heat therapy experiences.
