Manx Museum reopens Viking galleries
Manx Museum in Douglas on the Isle of Man has reopened its refurbished Viking and Medieval galleries to the public.
The Story of Mann now encompasses a collection of artefacts, including the original Act of Revestment; a life-size replica of a Balladoole Viking; storylines; exhibitions on settlement, trade, myths and sagas; and information on the development of the national Manx identity.
In addition, a temporary exhibition running until 15 September – called Staying The Course – features a century of TT annual racing festival history with motorcycle, leather clothing and trophy displays.
Haley Sharpe Design created both exhibits.
