The Annual Arena Lecture, 5 February 2009, London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.

Established by industry leaders in 1983, Arena has evolved over the years to emerge as the hospitality industry's premier networking group. Arena organises lunches, lectures and meetings to facilitate the best networking opportunities for a cross-section of industry professionals. The Annual Arena Lecture has over the years become an institution within the hospitality events calendar, with an impressive roll call of inspirational and respected speakers, including Alastair Campbell, Sir Rocco Forte and Prue Leith OBE.

The 2009 event promises not to disappoint as Arena welcomes Marcus Wareing, the two-Michelin-starred chef patron of Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley, to headline the event. One of the brightest stars in British cooking, Marcus has rarely been out of the headlines since his 'split' from Gordon Ramsay last year. The Annual Arena lecture will, however, allow attendees to go beyond the 'tabloid gossip' and see the real Marcus Wareing - understanding his motivations, principles and ambitions - as he lays himself open to a probing interview by BBC Radio 2's food and drink expert Nigel Barden.

Following the interview with Nigel Barden, Marcus will be taking further questions from the floor, giving industry members from all sectors the chance to ask that burning question they have always wanted to ask a top chef like Marcus Wareing. The event starts at 6.30pm and in addition to this unique opportunity to hear from Marcus himself, it promises the chance to network with over 200 senior hospitality professionals and enjoy a fabulous three-course dinner prepared by executive chef, Anthony Marshall, and his team at this top London venue.

This year's Annual Lecture certainly promises to be an exciting event - so secure your place now and avoid disappointment. Tickets cost £135 plus VAT for Arena members and £175 plus VAT for non members.

Book now and take advantage of a very special offer: A table of 10 tickets for the price of only 8! That's £1080 + VAT for Arena members and £1,400 + VAT for non members. To secure your place contact Lorraine Wood on 0203 087 2378 or email [email protected]
