The Marquee Club, originally launched in the sixties, is to reopen in June and will feature live music and food from chef Garry Hollihead.
The venture is being set up by Hollihead, executive chef at the West End restaurant Embassy, Mark Fuller, chief executive at Embassy and managing director, Gina Clough-Campbell. The music will be supplied by Eurythmics star Dave Stewart's company Artists Network.
The live music venue, to be based in Islington, will offer a 100-seat restaurant. Garry Hollihead will over see the American/ British menu.
The Marquee Club was originally launched in the 1960s and featured bands such as the Small Faces.
