To further celebrate the BHA’s Centenary year, the BHA will be holding the Food & Service Management Conference and celebration lunch on Tuesday 4 March at BAFTA, (195 Piccadilly, London, W1) the iconic home of the British Academy of Film and Arts in the heart of London.

The day will begin at 9.00am with the launch of the 19th BHA Food and Service Management Industry Survey, which is sponsored by Nestlé Professional. Here the report findings will be released and a panel, comprising of eminent members of the food service industry, will be on hand to answer questions.

The rest of the morning’s conference will discuss a topical and informative range of subjects to include: Food and Farming; Renewable Energy; Retail Influence in Foodservice; and worldwide trends in Foodservice. Speaking at the morning conference will be Mike Hohnen, who has spent 27 years as a manager and active change leader in service and hospitality companies worldwide. Mike will be taking delegates on a whirlwind tour of what is happening in Foodservice today and what the solutions could be.

To round off the morning there will be plenty of networking opportunity at the lunchtime drinks reception ahead of a delicious three course lunch which will feature guest speaker and international rugby giant Martin Bayfield. Since retiring from the game Martin’s great height won him the part of Robbie Coltrane’s body double when playing Hagrid in the popular Harry Potter movies!
