Mash launches patriotic World Cup beer
Mash restaurant on Great Portland Street, London, is launching a patriotic World Cup beer to celebrate this summer’s football tournament.
The St George’s Special beer is a 4.5 per cent unfiltered white beer, brewed on the premises, with a red cross adorning each head, and will be served for the duration of England’s involvement in the World Cup.
The beer was created by Mash’s ‘master brewer’ at the restaurant’s microbrewery. The restaurant will also be launching a menu to match participating World Cup teams. For example, for the England v Trinidad & Tobago game, daily specials will adopt a Caribbean theme. Details: www.mashbarandrestaurant.com
