Matt Roberts launches training academy
One of the country’s best-selling fitness authors, Matt Roberts, is launching a new fitness training academy in London.
The Matt Roberts Personal Training Academy will be launched at his studio in the City of London where he and his team will teach aspiring personal trainers studying the 10-week Matt Roberts Personal Training Diploma.
The course is aimed at ex-athletes, post grad students and fitness enthusiasts and offers a combination of academic theory and on-the-job practice.
“Standards within the industry need to be raised enormously,” said Roberts, who has trained celebrities such as Naomi Campbell and Sting.
"I feel there’s a lack of highly qualified trainers in the current marketplace and a lack of trainers who possess the ability to turn their knowledge into practical skills, so we’ll be training our candidates as potential employees of the future.”
