Maxiflow® specified for Bath Spa restoration
Maxiflow®, a channel grating product for deck level pools and one of Plastic for Industry’s (PFI) range, was specified for inclusion in the multi-million pound restoration of Bath’s natural thermal water spas.
The baths – which date back to pre-Roman times – were closed in 1978 but funding from the Millennium Commission allowed their restoration to go ahead.
Due to the unique nature of the baths, PFI was asked to help in the development and manufacture of one of the widest channel gratings ever produced, which was made to match the colour of the local West Country stone.
Maxiflow® is made from Vitrathene™ and guaranteed for five years, which PFI believes underlines the integrity of the product in such an historic and prestigious development.
