McCausland welcomes stadium funding boost
Northern Ireland leisure minister Nelson McCausland has welcomed a cash boost towards plans for a new soccer, GAA and rugby union stadium.
In its Draft Budget 2011-15, the Northern Ireland Executive has supported the minister's bid for £110m towards the scheme. McCausland said: "While there will be challenges, the four year Draft Budget has given us a sound basis for planning ahead.
"I am particularly pleased that the Executive has supported my bid for £110m to develop stadium provision for our three major sports."
