McDonald's offers online fitness guidance
Plus One Health Management, a manager of corporate fitness and spa facilities, is to provide online fitness guidance for McDonald’s Go Active! website.
Developed in partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the American College of Sports Medicine, the site encourages and provides specific steps to help people around the world incorporate physical fitness into their daily lives.
Visitors to the site get a behind-the-scenes look at how top athletes like Yao Ming and Venus and Serena Williams train and can create their own customised programmes to meet their fitness and nutrition goals.
Plus One Health Management will provide customised fitness plans powered by its My Fitness Expert website, which launched in 1999 to provide online fitness training and support to members.
The partnership will provide users with the necessary tools to improve their health and fitness regimes, said Plus One’s president, Mike Motta.
“Taking into consideration an individual’s history, condition, goals and weekly schedule, all workout routines are designed to motivate individuals to achieve a greater level of health and fitness,” he said.
“We are committed to providing all users with smart exercise plans that are safe, effective, fun and easy to stick to.”
