Memorial service for James Munn, MBE
A memorial service, to take place at Birmingham Cathedral on 11 July at 2.30pm, will commemorate the public life of the late Jim Munn.
Principally recognised for his huge contribution to the sports industry, one of Jim’s greatest achievements was masterminding the construction of the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
He was also well known for driving Birmingham’s 1992 Olympics bid and for turning the city’s sports and leisure department into one of the largest in Europe. Details: Mr Kerry McDonald +44 (0)7947 042152
