Metropolitan to open in Bangkok
The Metropolitan hotel, conceived by Christina Ong, owner of COMO Hotels and Resorts, is due to open in Bangkok on 1 November.
Sister hotel to London’s Metropolitan on Park Lane, The Metropolitan, Bangkok has two restaurants, a Met Bar and 174 guest rooms, all containing a 25-inch flat screen TV, a DVD and High-speed broadband internet access.
Designed by Kathryn King, an interior architect from Singapore, the hotel also offers three meeting rooms, and Shambhala, offering signature treatments, a gym, steamrooms, a hydro pool, a 20m outdoor lap pool and a yoga studio.
