Mice calls in administrators
Exhibition and marketing company Mice Group has suspended its trading on the London Stock Exchange and appointed a team of administrators after it failed to secure a deal with its lenders on securing new funds.
The announcement means that a number of Mice subsidiaries have followed the parent company into insolvency.
These include museum and heritage design specialist Silver Knight Exhibitions, Ward Design Studio and Artisan.
In March, Mice sold its leisure arm, Grant Leisure Group, to Spanish company Parques Reunidos for £10.4m.
Grant Leisure was the holding company for Mice’s three visitor attractions – Oceanarium in Bournemouth, Blackpool Zoo and Aquarium of the Lakes in Cumbria.
