Michel Platini returned as UEFA president
Michel Platini has been re-elected as president of UEFA - European football's governing body - for a second four-year term due to run until 2015.
The announcement was made at the organisation's 25th Ordinary Congress on 22 March, which was held in Paris, France. Following his re-election by acclamation, Platini said the implementation of his Financial Fair Play regulations and an end to institutional discrimination were among his aims.
Increasing the participating nations in the UEFA European Championships to 24 teams is also a priority, according to Platini.
