Mighty MICE Group
MICE Group has scooped several new attraction projects, according to special projects manager, Gwyn Williams, including a turnkey dark ride/aquarium scheme, one element of the new Khalifa Park in Abu Dhabi. Its subsidiary, Grant Leisure is setting up the operations and management for the venture.
The brand new attraction is scheduled to open in September.
Throughout the development of this project, MICE Group has been able to draw on its experience with other aquariums including the Oceanarium Bournemouth. Williams says MICE is now working on two more aquarium projects in Europe.
On the museums and galleries front, MICE Group counts among its projects the major new exhibition on Elizabeth I, commemorating the 400th anniversary of her death, which is to be staged at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, UK, from 1 May.
MICE Group have also had the go-ahead from the UK's Blackpool Zoo to design new conference, hotel and entertainment facilities. Grant Leisure Group will operate the attraction. Details: +44 (0)1676 542000
