A sculpture of Tower Bridge in the eye of a needle, a polar bear made out of a sugar granule and the Beckham family on a cocktail stick will go on show at a new exhibition in London's Covent Garden on 27 June. The Impossible Microworld is the work of Willard Wigan, the top micro-miniaturist who holds his breath while working and carves between heart beats to avoid damaging or dislodging his sculptures. This museum follows the launch of one in Bath in November 1999 which has drawn more than 100,000 visitors and earned the award of specialist museum of the year from the 2001 Good Britain Guide.
