Mira Hong Kong opens
The Miramar Hotel and Investment Company has opened the Mira hotel in Hong Kong.
The 492-bedroom hotel was designed by a partnership consisting of Charles Allem of Cad International and celebrity ‘party planner’ Colin Cowie.
The US$65m (£40m, €44m) property will be marketed as a lifestyle hotel and facilities include three restaurants, two bars, a private members club and 14,000sq ft of conference space.
The hotel will also launch a spa on 21 November. The 18,000sq ft facility will be called MiraSpa and will be managed by Miramar. Spa amenities are yet to be confirmed but the facility will include an infinity pool and a health and fitness suite.
Treatments will be provided by Anne Semonin and London, UK-based Elemental Herbology.
